i am in exactly the same postions.. be careful...some think that 'turning you in', is an act of Godly devotion. And the elders will be happy with them.
But do try it, a bit at a time, but be ready to deny it if needed.

Do JWs Shun You?
by minimus inrecently, i've heard from various jw family members that either i am viewed as "close to being an apostate" because i had made some comments suggesting that the fds is clearly wrong on many issues over the years or that i "have left jehovah" and therefor by my new way of life, i must be shunned.
while visiting my dying non jw uncle in the hospital, i was told outrightly that it was wished that i never showed my face and that my mere presence was objectionable and that since i "left jehovah", they could not talk to me any longer.. their viewpoints saddened me because they said all this in front of my uncle who can barely respond to anything.
his reaction: he cried his eyes out!

Yes, they shun you even if you are not DF or DA, I have heard of that many many times, there are some I know who not go to meetings anymore, although they are not DF or DA, they are treated as if they were.
But the JW’s R&F don’t know what they are really saying, I don’t really believe they mean it or understand, they are just parrots for the WTS. Remember the words of Jesus, " forgive them my father, they don’t know they are doing."
The blood guilt is with the GB.

Also to my defence since I knew I was gonna cope it not only from the women here but also from some of the men, I have a good wife, who I look after, and 2 teenage step girls. And they all live and sleep in security under my roof and my care, so don’t think I have something against women, far from it, I’m just old fashioned, and I’m sick of this women rights B/S.
Women have it pretty well off in this western world, have a look at women in the east or Muslims, my step daughter was seeing a Muslims man and I told her to stop seeing him on the basis they treat women like dogs, but on the other hand I like a woman who knows here place with her man too.
I don't hear many windows complaining, only moaning.
